‘Children and Young People Shout Out!'

Have your say and tell us how mental health services have supported you before and during the National Pandemic.
Since the Covid pandemic, services have continued to support many children and young people and families to meet their emotional, mental health and wellbeing needs. However there have been some changes made to these services and we would like to know whether these changes have helped.

The three Clinical Commissioning Groups, across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have developed a questionnaire to find out what services children and young people have accessed before, and during, Covid lockdown and asks for their ideas on how we could improve access and service delivery.

As you probably know my son Matt was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 5years old. We had some exceedingly difficult times and as a result I set us ADHD Solutions in 2006 with the sole aim that other families wouldn’t have to go through all the challenges we faced on their own.

We now have over 7000 families registered with us. This number is increasing by the day as families who have struggled are now at breaking point.

As a team we are determined that families affected by ADHD will get the help and support they need at this Very difficult time. As you will see we have lost 50% of our income since the lockdown started.

I normally try to keep ADHD Solutions separate from my personal life, but PLEASE can YOU HELP us by sharing this far and wide and if you are able to by supporting us via our GoFundMe Page:

Even a small donation could help reach the fundraising goal. And if you can't make a donation, it would be great if you could share to help spread the word.

Thanks for taking a look!

Thanks and best wishes
